RC flying experience
Remote control flying is an amazing hobby that combines the love for model airplanes with the art, excitement, and knowledge of real flying.
For many, it is an exciting hobby but a difficult and expensive one to get into. With our "RC Flying Experience" introductory lesson, aspiring RC pilots or just curious weekend adventurers can fly a remote control plane with an instructor by their side. No need to worry about mistakes since the instructor has immediate control when they need it.
Now everyone can jump behind the sticks and experience model airplane flying with no previous experience. Don't worry about buying a plane, storing it, crashing it, or flying in the wrong place. Just come and fly with us. We offer an introductory flights, beginner to intermediate lessons covering FAA safety and requirements for recreational "hobby" flyers, battery and fuel safety, handling, storing, repairs, flying etc.

Orlando Remote Control is FAA part 107 certified for remote pilot commercial operations.
Lessons
We currently offer three different types of lessons, the experience introduction, beginner lessons for those who are entering the hobby and RC Jet flying lessons for intermediate to advanced remote pilots.
We teach kids Ages 8+ and adults.
RC Flying Experience
Spend one hour with the instructor learning the basics of remote control flight. During the lesson you will learn about the hobby, the aircraft, doing preflight and flying a remote control plane.
After this introduction flight students will have a better idea of what the hobby entails.
During this lesson the student will get to fly anywhere from one to three times, weather, battery, time and aircraft permitting. Flight time varies from 4 to 8 mins.​

RC Flying Beginner Lessons
One hour lesson with the instructor as PIC, using linked RC radios during flights.
This lesson is meant to give you more practice behind the sticks with added benefit of having an instructor providing corrections and advice. We cover taxi, takeoffs, flying the pattern and landings. We also cover the FAA TRUST training and test requirement for recreational flyers.
During this lesson the student will get to fly anywhere from one to three times, weather, battery, time and aircraft permitting. Flight time varies from 4 to 8 mins.​

RC Jet Flying Lessons
When you have the need, the need for speed, nothing beats watching Maverick take to the skies and then breaking out your RC jet for some good hair raising fun.

This lesson is meant for intermediate flyers who want to transition into Jet flying. We cover setup, flying techniques, take offs and landing practice.
During this lesson the student will get to fly anywhere from one to three times, weather, battery, time and aircraft permitting. Flight time varies from 2 to 4 mins.​
